It was only a matter of time before we applied our award-winning production experience, including medical and pharmaceutical animation, with our journalism and production experiences for PBS, MTV, CNN, et. al., to create productions for Full Size Planetarium Domes and Omnitheaters.

Associates D’nardo Colucci and David McConville first pointed out the unmet needs in the Science Museum community. VR-MAX explored these needs with non-profit funding expert Loren Niemi, resulting in a co-presentation with Craig Sinard on the topic of Corporate branding as a fund-raising tool at the 2008 International Planetarium Society.

At the invitation of the University of Minnesota, VR-MAX is exploring the opportunity to create a series of digital, immersive energy-specific science “shorts” to be distributed for free. According to initial feedback from the Boston Science Museum, the Daniel M. Soref Planetarium and others, these films should be 2-4 minutes in length.
